Not a Consumer Reporting Agency. This website is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The information here, and on any third-party tool linked from this site, may not be used to make decisions about credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. Background checks for those purposes must go through an FCRA-compliant screening provider.
Privately Operated Reference Site
This site is privately operated. It is not a court, a sheriff’s office, or a government agency, and is not affiliated with one. It does not issue or serve warrants and maintains no official warrant system. It points readers to the Piute County Sheriff’s Office, the Sixth District Court in Junction, Utah’s BCI statewide search, and the state court case portal. Piute County does not publish its own warrant roster.
Accuracy of Information
Office details and procedures can change, and public databases do not update at the same time. We cannot guarantee that every detail is current. Piute County court appearances are scheduled rather than open sessions; do not treat this site as an instruction to appear or pay. Call the office before traveling or taking a procedural step.
Warrant Status Changes - Verify Before You Rely
Warrant status may change after a public result is viewed. Utah BCI indicates a court recall can take about an hour to appear in its search, and a served warrant may remain visible for about 15 days. A clear search is not proof that no warrant exists: the case may be with another court, the record may be restricted, or the search may not include the relevant record. Confirm both a hit and a no-hit result with the court that issued the warrant or the Piute County Sheriff’s Office.
Treat a search result as a lead. The issuing court controls the warrant record; the Sheriff’s Office can answer questions about its service records. Ask the relevant office whether the entry is current.
Verify With the Official Source
Nothing on this site is an official record. Use Utah’s BCI search to check statewide warrant entries and Xchange to search public Utah court cases, then confirm a specific case with the court that issued its warrant. The Sixth District clerk’s office in Junction is at 550 N Main Street and can be reached at 435-577-2840. Piute County Sheriff’s Office contacts are 435-577-2893 and 435-577-2972. Neither public database replaces confirmation from the record-holding office.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing here is legal advice. A website cannot tell you how an outstanding warrant, court appearance, or other case issue affects you. Consult a licensed Utah attorney for advice about your circumstances; contact the court clerk for records and scheduling information.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party companies. We do not control what those tools return, how they price their services, or how they handle data you submit. Results from those tools may be incomplete, outdated, or matched to the wrong warrant or person, and they carry the same FCRA restrictions described above.
Outbound Links
We link to Utah BCI, Xchange, the Utah courts, and local Piute County offices. These outside services control their own records, privacy practices, access rules, and availability. Check their terms and current instructions before submitting information.
No Records on This Site
This site does not host warrant entries, lists, case files, or court records. Piute County has no public county-run active warrant list on this site. To confirm a particular warrant, contact the issuing court or the Sheriff’s Office using its current official channels.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you tell me if there is a warrant for me?
No. This site does not maintain an official warrant system. Start with a warrant search, then confirm with the issuing court or the Piute County Sheriff’s Office.
Does a clear result mean I have no warrant?
No. The search may not cover the court or record you need, and an update can lag. Confirm your status directly with the issuing court or Sheriff’s Office.
Who can clear or recall a warrant?
Only the court that issued the warrant can recall or clear it. Talk to an attorney and the issuing court.
